Hello

I adopted my ex-wife's son 10 years ago. He is 16 now. 8 years ago, he began counseling for anger issues. The past 2-3 years have been miserable. I divorced 3 years ago. The 16 year old was in trouble with the law over inappropriate acts of a sexual nature. He is a very angry person. I have been taking him to counseling on a regular basis. I now feel that he is a threat. The bullying of siblings and a complete disregard for my authority are some of the current situations. I am...

My husband and I are in turmoil right now wondering what to do with our 11 yo adopted son. We have had him with us for just over two years and we are at our wits end with his stealing and lying. He will lie about anything at all. Even things that don't necessarily have a bad consequence. We also have his 5 yo siste and two birth children (10 and 4) I am scared that one day his lies are going to cause them harm. I know that sounds far fetched but when he is determined to hide the truth about...

Then we adopted our 2nd daughter (13 next month) when she was 2 yrs. old from Chelyabinsk, Russia. Our next two adoptions were older boys. We adopted our first son (now 25) just a couple days before he turned 16 from Moscow, Russia.
